Student noteA wetland park on the south bank of the Thames, with waterfowl, otters and bird hides, a two-to-three hour loop along the boardwalks. Entry requires a ticket (student discount available), but it's much quieter than the zoo. Busiest during spring hatching season, binoculars can be borrowed on site, wellies recommended on wet days.
