Hongdae Pocha

Student noteIf you like raw beef in Korean food, try Hongdae Pocha's raw beef — frozen into a block then shredded, crispy like ice cream, served with pear strips and egg yolk, not fishy and refreshing. The fishcake soup is heavy on pepper and slightly spicy, great for warming up in winter. The fried chicken comes in a sweet-spicy and garlic soy combo, and the garlic soy one with scales on it is really crispy. The creamy rose sauce ramen has a strong milky flavour, with cheese sticks and rice cakes and cabbage inside — save the sauce to mix with rice. Good for a small group or a bigger group gathering.
