Student noteCremer, newly opened in Hoxton, is so beautifully decorated it feels like a gallery, and tables are hard to get even on weekdays. The menu isn't fixed, it's whatever's on the blackboard that day, and the food is on the lighter side, like something homemade. The rice ice cream is worth trying. You can't use laptops on weekends, so plan accordingly if you want to work there.
