Student noteThis Manchester Michelin-starred spot has stunning starters, with the buttered bread especially fragrant. Watch out for small bones in the eel main course; when we flagged it, the restaurant sent over a beetroot juice cocktail that was surprisingly refreshing. The desserts fell a bit flat and didn't quite live up to their names, but overall it's one of the two Michelin spots in Manchester worth trying. Book at least a month ahead.
