Student noteTucked away in a dodgy-looking alley in Whitechapel, this is the oldest radical literature bookshop in the UK, founded back in 1886 and also running as a publishing house. Plenty of books on topics like the labour movement, feminism and queer theory, with occasional public events. Good for a solo browse or a small hangout with friends.
