Student noteThe sashimi at Aki comes in generous, thick cuts, and the bluefin otoro nigiri melts in your mouth. For omakase you can choose 21, 15 or 9 pieces. The standout dish is the Miyazaki beef sushi roll, wrapped in beef with more beef inside, paired with enoki mushroom, onsen egg and a Japanese fermented koji sauce - a flavour unlike anything else. The bluefin tuna tartare is served on ice to keep it cold, and it's great once mixed together.
