Student noteThis greenhouse-style café near Hackney Central has air conditioning so it doesn't get stuffy, isn't too crowded, and you can work on your laptop there. The staff recommended the Anatolian breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise — halloumi with perfectly fried sausage, sourdough fried with honey, plus delicate fig jam and clotted cream, all paired together wonderfully.
