Student noteMaki Nori is a new Japanese spot in Soho specialising in hand-pressed sushi, with à la carte options too. It's reasonably priced but doesn't skimp on quality, with a comfortable counter seating where you can watch the chef prep fish and make nigiri right in front of you. Good for students who want an omakase experience without spending too much.
