Umami Lab Sapporo Ramen

Student noteRun by a Hokkaido owner with a Japanese team, this Sapporo ramen spot has a miso broth wok-seared before adding stock - rich but never heavy, paired with thick curly Hokkaido noodles that soak up the soup well, really comforting on a cold day. Staff are polite with a good sense of boundaries, and the decor is clearly well thought out. Good for solo visits or meals with friends.
